January 16, 2021

In Fall 2020, I soft launched four of my ebooks.  Each one is an historical romance novel that takes place in 18th century Europe.  Love Captured spans the colony of North Carolina and the slums of Liverpool, England.  Hidden Valor is set in London, England, while Ardor's Prestige is based in Venice (Venezia).  Stolen Grace is set in Versaille France.

This week I issued the most recent press release for
Love Captured.

Currently all of my published ebooks may be found on Amazon here

Chicory Up:  New Fiction Book Review

On January 16, 2021, I published my review of Chicory Up by Irene Radford which can be found on LibraryThing.  It is filled with details and admittedly more lengthier than most book reviews--and maybe a couple of spoilers (warning included within).  I found the book unusual and interesting at the same time.  I am not inclined to read semi-fantasy novels concerning Pixies and Faeries, but the author was able to interrelate and juxtapose both human and fantastical characters to make for an interesting read.

A Milestone Reached...

For those of you who wish to be an author, for those of you who are scoffed at your desire to write.  Write.  I have laboured in my fiction writing for four years now.  I have been mocked and otherwise have been able to overcome the most tenuous obstacles while pursuing my writing goals.  If you really want to do it, you will.  I am glad to share with you all that this week I recently completed my 19th novel.  To celebrate, I am doing two giveaways on LibraryThing.  Two readers, one from the U.S. and one from the U.K. will be able to read and review my e bookcalligraphy-fonts for free.  One reader from the U.S. will be able to read and review my ebook calligraphy-fonts, also for free.

Here's to more writing.  Cheers.

Upcoming...

This year I plan to publish my first mystery/detective novel.  Set in the 1920s, a black female detective is assigned, along with a few of her colleagues, a few interrelated murders.  This mild-mannered young woman must go undercover with another detective to the one place she would never step foot in--a speakeasy.  Expect for The Speakeasy Murders to be published in 2021.

An Author's Work is Solitary, but You Can Still Support Literary Artists.

This is a call to you, the reader to participate in my launch team.  Writing is for sharing.  If you are interested in being a part of this team, please contact me  here.  Here is an introduction of what you as a member of the team will expect:

          1.  What actions to take:
                a.  Each member to review a copy of Love Captured.
                b. Please provide feedback.  No matter how often I review,
run spellcheck, proofread or correct formatting errors, no one is
perfect.  If you like it, that is good too...

There is more to this group effort, and you can only find out if you are a part of the team!
